Summer Jam Canada 2010 takes place this Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the Bingemans Camping Resort, Kitchener, Ontario, about an hour and a half outside of Toronto. Despite being in the land of Drake, New York hip hop will be nicely represented at this event, with Busta Rhymes and Fabolous joining Rick Ross and T-Pain headlining the event and Hot 97’s DJ Enuff holding down hosting duties. Summer Jam Canada has invited Birthplace Magazine to attend and cover the event, so we will be on hand to see how our hip hop exports hold it down for T-Dot and the surrounding area, and we’ll have a full recap, photos and videos soon after the event.
Summer Jam Canada 2010, presented in part by area radio station 91.5 The Beat, will consist of an all-day, outdoor, open-air festival atmosphere, including a dance competition, dance crew battles, a three-point contest and slam dunk competition. Local and up-and-coming artists will perform all throughout the day and night, and the Jam will continue after the 2pm – 11pm event, as there are several after-parties lined up that are to be hosted by the headliners themselves.
Tickets are on sale with several access levels, including general admission, and combination general admission/after-party packages.
