The Rick Ross/Styles P. video for “B.M.F. (Blowin Money Fast)” premiered earlier, so here it is. As we mentioned in our Rick Ross/Jay-Z post, Ross has been making some very listenable songs lately, and the inclusion of New York artists gives us the editorial clearance we need to share them here. Which we still wouldn’t do if he was sucking, but with “B.M.F.” and “Free Mason,” he is not.
The buildup for Ross’ Teflon Don continues, and with these tracks, plus others that have been floating around, the buzz is starting to grow a bit deafening. From a guy who’s career and “street cred” was in serious jeopardy a little while back, we’d like to believe that simply making good music was the key to offsetting the so-called bad publicity. Whatever it was, seems to be working.
The video for “B.M.F.” was directed by Maybach Films/Parris and shows some grimy spots, party people, shiny things, a few cameos, green paper and Rick Ross catching a bit of a hip hop Holy Ghost.
