Lupe Fiasco, one of Chi-town’s finest, blows into New York City and Atlantic City this April, for a two-night engagement at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza following a one night gig in A.C. Playing the 9th, 10th, and 11th, Fiasco, who in the past has talked of retirement, fired his entire staff, “misunderstood” messages regarding not wanting Jay-Z’s fame, and frustrated fans with an elongated wait for a new album, will return to New York, after last touching down at a Governors Island concert in 2009.
Atlanta’s breath-of-fresh-hip-hop-air B.O.B. is scheduled to perform on other tour dates, but it is not immediately clear as to whether or not he will accompany Lupe for the NYC dates.
