Occasionally, we may just slap up a press release up here, without much opinion. Like now. For Bizz. Who we don’t know, and haven’t heard of. But, with Freeway on one track, and Q-Parker from 112 on another, who knows. The press release does say a Bizz single was part of Tony Neal (Core DJs) picks, and we fuxx with T. Neal, so, we’ll keep an ear out and see if the self-proclaimed Prince of Jersey gets bizz. Ha. Get it?.
Up and coming Hip-Hop recording artist, Bizz announces the official release date for his debut album Prince of Jersey.
The album is set for release on October 13th 2009 through Blakglobe Records/E-1 Entertainment/Koch. The lead single off the album will be “Ringtone”, a track featuring Rocafella Records recording artist Freeway. The up-beat party track is gaining early airplay in select cities and debuted on the Sprint TV Network. Freeway and Bizz are currently performing together across the country in select cities. The follow up single will be “Monica Lewinski” — a bawdy play on words for a controversial act. Former Bad Boy Records recording artist, Q- Parker of 112, makes a guest appearance on the track, “In a Minute”. The single was recapped as one of the top 20 records to debut at Tony Neal’s Core DJ Retreat in Myrtle Beach, SC. Wu-Tang affiliate, Kinetic, also emerges on the street single “Realist Spittin”, a track for true Wu-Tang fans.
Prince of Jersey features production by platinum recording producer 4th Disciple, as well as Bunnie Sigler, Saint Man, and Vodka. Bizz explains the anticipation behind the album, “Prince of Jersey is what hip-hop’s been missing for some time now. My album has something for everyone. It was a blessing to be able to work with some of the best hip-hop groups around. I got a chance to work with Wu-Tang, Rocafella, and Bad Boy artists, not too many new artists can say that coming out of the gate. I’m up next.”
To give his fans a small taste of what to expect on the upcoming release, Bizz has a mixtape out now hosted by world famous DJ Vlad on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes – “From Now Until Drop” and features guest appearances by Drake, Lil Wayne, Freeway, Gucci Mane, Ghostface, DJ Kay Slay, Yung Joc among others.
Always keeping busy, Bizz recently performed with Q Parker of 112 on various dates including a few in Puerto Rico as well as a show in Minnesota with Beanie Sigel.
Like a true prince, Bizz has taken up court with some of the biggest names in the industry. And indeed, the best should only surround themselves with the best. “Prince of Jersey” will undoubtedly prove to be just the beginning of this epic tale of the garden state monarch, make sure to be on the look out for the first chapter on October 13th on Blakglobe/E-1/Koch.
